"The bubbly Rosa came to the sanctuary with her sweet sister Milly. Rosa and Milly were brought to our attention through an online thread where they were listed as not being useful to the farmer and were expected to be slaughtered. As soon as we got the notification, we were on our way to take these two cuties into our care. We knew there was a bright future ahead of them and we were going to make it happen!

 

When they arrived they were both smaller than anticipated which led us to suspect they might have been underfed prior to being in our care. However, in a short amount of time and with lots of yummy food, they have outgrown their little pen and now spend their time lazing around with the big pigs! Still to this day you'll often find Rosa and Milly keeping each other company side-by-side."
